I’m Nina, a documentary and real estate photographer with over 10 years of professional experience, originally from Germany and currently based in Panama.

Photography has been part of my life since my teenage years, but it developed into my profession during an extended period of international travel. Working across Asia, Australia and Central America, I began documenting accommodations, private villas and hospitality spaces through an honest, natural and story-driven lens.

Over the past years, I’ve worked with a wide range of local businesses in Bocas del Toro, building long-term client relationships and supporting brands through professional photography and social media management. My approach is grounded in observation and presence. I believe the strongest images are created when there is time to understand a space — its rhythm, its light, and the way people move within it.

Rather than simply documenting how a place looks, I focus on how it feels:
the quiet of early mornings, the texture of natural light, the atmosphere that defines a stay.

This slower, intentional way of working has shaped my visual language — creating imagery that feels calm, timeless and authentic.
